Family Portrait in Black and White is a documentary film which follows Olga, a Ukrainian woman who has fostered 17 children, 16 of whom are mixed race. It is a deeply moving, often harrowing film that documents the racism,emotional and physical abuse that the mixed race children are subjected to within the family, society and state institutions.
