A poem about intergene-racial-nal conflict

by KSearle

My white right-wing grandad thought I’d be a mental health failure,

My white left-wing dad thought I’d be a race divided world’s saviour,

My white right-wing grandad thought I’d be a mixed race tragedy,

My white left-wing dad thought I’d be mixed race majesty,

Really, I’m stuck in an office, not that far from normality.
